JUSTIN BELLANGER JOINS THE BOARD AS NEW COMPANY DIRECTOR
Mr Justin Bellanger has joined the Board of Invasive Animals Ltd (trading as the Centre for Invasive Species Solutions), replacing long-serving Director, Mr David Palmer.
Mr Bellanger is based in Denmark, Western Australia where he works as an Executive and Governance Services Consultant.
“I am thrilled to have Justin join us as the new Director on the IAL Board”, said Chair, Mr Bruce Christie.
“Justin has extensive director, senior consulting and executive leaderships experience and will be an exceptional addition to the Board as it looks to position the Centre for success in 2023 and beyond.”
Mr Bellanger is the Independent Chair of the Aquaculture Council of Western Australia, a member of Biosecurity Council of Western Australia, a member of the National Environmental Biosecurity Advisory Group, and the Co-convenor/Governance Group Member of the National Biosecurity General Surveillance Community of Practice.
Mr Bellanger is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management from the Australian Institute of Management, and has Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Aquaculture from James Cook University.
Mr Christie also paid tribute to outgoing Director, Mr David Palmer, saying “I would like to thank David for his long service and dedication to the Centre. The Company has benefited immensely from his strategic insights and leadership for nearly a decade.”
