Tender open for WoNS update

The Centre for Invasive Species Solutions (CISS) requires an update to components of 27 Weeds of National Significance (WoNS) best practice manuals. The tender documentation and Terms of Reference can be obtained via the link below. The project deals with the updating of the chemical, mechanical and biological control sections of each manual, with the development of Addendums to the existing manuals. It is envisaged that this review may identify significant control gaps or issues for certain WoNS, and provide updates to chemical and herbicide rates, permits, applications methods, any new biological agents and best practice.

Please note, this is to be a species-based manual update, as some manuals include multiple WoNS species. Best practice control components for all WoNS species in the 27 manuals should be reviewed to the same extent as in the existing manuals.

Submission of tenders is due by 6:00 pm Monday 20 December 2021 by email to myself (Catherine Walsh, Weeds RD&E Manager, Centre for Invasive Species Solutions: Catherine.walsh@invasives.com.au ). Enquiries also welcome – Mobile 0499 545 277.
